St. Mary's County USTA Jr. Team Tennis
SMCTA's Junior Team Tennis league takes place each summer, starting in late May/early June and lasts until mid-July. Open to all skill levels from agest 6 to18. Divisions include 18 and under, 14 and under, and 10 and under. Additional divisions will be offered if there is enough participation.
Matches are held Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm, at the following locations per division:
- 10 and Under - Town Creek Park
- 14 and Under - Cecil Park
- 18 and Under - Great Mills High School
Total Cost for the 2010 season is 69.49 per registration, which includes the local fee, USTA fees and 1 year membership, and a t-shirt.

Junior Tennis is a high priority for SMCTA. We're partnering with Recreation and Parks, St. Mary's College, and Breton Bay Golf and Country Club to develop more instruction and match play for junior players.
SMCTA is seeking grants and corporate sponsorships to help defray costs to young players. Volunteers are also needed to help organize and supervise open site play. If you can help, please contact Sue Bellis at 301-475-0153 or any SMCTA Board Member
